The ambient project "nijuroko" by Daiki Hayakata and Asahi started In 2020. nijuroko is also a photographic technique that can be translated to "Multiple Exposure".
This recording was inspired by the attempt to do the same thing with sound and music.

The topic of this album is memory / recollection.

The album was created to allow each listener to look into fragments of memories by using sampling, environmental sounds (mainly kitchen utensils and various everyday life sounds), and a prepared piano, gamelans, and a broken piano that had been stored in a warehouse at home. The memories and scenes evoked from the harmonies and environmental sounds are different for each listener.

Are the memories that come to mind really our own?
Are they memories of a previous life or something outside of our consciousness?
